a) Hohepa worked in a store for 16 hours a week for 7 weeks over Christmas. Show how to work out how many hours he worked over that time.
16 x 7 =
6 x 7 = 42
10 x 7 = 70

b) Paddy worked 14 hours per day as a security guard. He worked for 23 days.
Show how to work out how many hours he worked over that time.

c) James and Maraea dug 32 post holes per day on their farm. They worked for 27 days. Show how to work out how many post holes they dug.

My Awesome Birthday Party
My awesome Birthday Party
In the weekends May 17 - 19, my friend's and I went to rainbow's end to celebrate by 12th birthday.
On Friday, my friends and I just kicked back, watched television, and had pizza for the night.
The next day, we drove to rainbow's end from my house. I wasn't that excited until we got there. The first ride we went on was the pirate ship, it was a funny ride. All of the big kids rides were my favorite, but mostly my favorite rides was the invader and the power surge. When we raced to the bumper boats, Lavinia soaked me, but I also soaked her. LOLL. It was lots of fun, but sadly it was now time to go. My mum just picked us up on time, and drove to my aunt's. We had an awesome feed, and had my birthday cake.
After all that, I went over to Lavinia's house to sleep, we had pillow fights, and played games. I didn't really have my birthday as planed as it was those days I celebrated my birthday, but everything was perfect. It was so fun. I really enjoyed my time and I hope my friend's also did too.

Hello, this is a photo of room 6 and room 9 boy's playing soccer, this game was another challenging game because the score was 1-0, sadly and haply room 6 won, on behalf of the players had enjoy themselves and played as a team.

KIA Ora, this is room 6 and 9 competing each other of a game of soccer. YAY, room 9 won, it was a challenging game, the score was 1-0, that was really close, they all shook hands, and said good game like real players. I hope everyone had loads of fun.
